My stay at this lovely lodge was fantastic overall. The location within a golf estate adds to its charm, and I truly appreciated how clean and cozy the rooms were. The service was incredible, especially from the owner who went out of her way to help us. However, I did find the shower situation in our room less than ideal as it led to some flooding, and the food at the club restaurant could use improvement. The price felt fair considering the experience we had.

The Lakes is a charming place to stay with accommodating and friendly staff. The varied menu and delicious food were highlights of our time there. However, I found the rooms a bit small and not very private, especially with the proximity to the tennis court. The dining experience at the Clubhouse fell short, and I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, the peaceful environment of the golf course paths was enjoyable, making it a good choice for walks at any hour.
